Night is a dark, silent time where all faith is lost. Night, a Holocaust memoir by Elie Wiesel is a tragic recollection of Elie’s Holocaust experience. Eliezer Wiesel, a young Jewish boy from the Transylvania region of Hungary, lives an average life until one fateful day, when he and his family are rounded up and sent to the notorious concentration camp, Auschwitz. Soon after, he loses his mother and two sisters within hours, and he himself comes two steps away from death. After a miserable first night that causes him to question everything about his life and how he lives, he goes through the next year living in harrowing conditions and witnessing numerous atrocities. This terrible time in his life makes him question his faith, and he begins to lose it, constantly questioning Where is God? How could he let something like this happen? Wiesel loses his faith temporarily throughout Night, no longer believing in humankind, God, and himself. Elie’s Holocaust experience was t ragic, and caused him to struggle with his faith in humankind. For the first three years of his life he hasd to wear mettle braces on his legs because he came out of his moms stomach weird on his legs were going to grow all out of poportion. they were this big mettle type tubed that fit his legs perfectly so it tought his legs how to grow perfect. He didnt even play basketball on an orginized team untill he was a sophomore at his high school. But that didnt stop him from perfecting his shot though. He use to take hunderds of shots every night before dinner. He would stay in one spot perfecting the shot from their and then move to another and perfect that one. And that is what has made him to be the super star that he is today. The fact that he has one of the nicest and smoothest shots of all times. But, even then he didnt get noticed because oh his muchly publicied sister. His sister Cheyl Miller is the greatest female basketball player in the history of the game. She averaged almost 50 points a game, and because of this he was never noticed by anybody. But his senior year he had an breakthrough year. He led the state of California in ppg, and rebpg. He then got recuited to UCLA, and after 4 outtanding years at the big school he got drafted in the 1987 draft as the number 11 pick in the first round, by the indiana pacers. Nobody thought that this was a good pick because he was such a trash talker and never really made friends with any of his teamates. But fortunetly for Indiana he turned out to be a complete surprise. Instead he is know a six time all-star and a member of the dream team 2 in the olympics. He has been very suprising and we look forward to him being one of the greatest shooters of all time.

For instance, if you write a two-page essay, it is better to include three body paragraphs (of at least a hundred words each), which discuss three different aspects of the topic, and one refutation section. In turn, if you are writing a paper of five and more pages, it is better to create more body sections to discuss all essential aspects of your argumentation. Introduction The first paragraph of your argumentative essay is an introduction, and here you are supposed to inform readers about what is going to be discussed and advocated in this paper. The first sentence is usually purely introduction, which means that it should not include any specific information, but, instead, make some general statement. For instance, if you are writing an essay on the issue of gender roles and femininity depicted in Shakespeare’s play, you can mention that this playwright is famous for creating deep female personalities, which was usual to those times. In this manner, your statement resonates with the mind and knowledge of your readers, pushing them to discover more about this topic. Then, say what particular works of Shakespeare resembles the topic under discussion in the most vivid manner. Besides, it also shows the structure of the essay, where the first body paragraph discusses Shakespeare’s ‘contribution to modern English language,’ the second advocates that ‘his plays gave inspiration for a variety of playwrights,’ and the last paragraph analyzes ‘depth of his characters’ individualities’ and how it ‘put a basis for a character development technique for the generations of writers.’ Body Section Each body paragraph of your essay should start from a topic sentence. This sentence reflects the idea of the whole paragraph and corresponds to the sequence of arguments presented in your thesis statement. In this manner, you not only make your argument evident but also show that your understanding of the topic is profound. Finally, try to use at least two references in a paragraph to make the text look credible. For instance, you can extract one reference from Shakespeare play and the other one from scholarly literature. The body section of your argumentative essay should end up with a refutation paragraph or paragraphs. In this section, you have to assume that your position is incorrect and write something that corresponds to the opinion of an opposition, which, in turn, opens the lines of communication. For instance, if your paper is based on the argumentation that Hamlet never really loved Ophelia, then you have to find evidence from the text where you seem to be incorrect. You can say, for example, that the character was greatly affected by her death, which might mean that he had strong feelings to her. Conclusion The conclusion section is the last part of your argumentation essay, which signifies that you succeed in claiming your position. Keep in mind that there should not be any new information here, so if you think that your text is not persuasive enough, then you should better improve your body section first. Nevertheless, the conclusion paragraph always starts from a concluding phrase and the restatement of the thesis. Then, summarize all the ideas that you have discussed in the body paragraphs and go over the refutation part to strengthen readers’ understanding. Krasner (1999, p.34), on the other hand, reports that some analysts argue to the point that the world is entering into a new era, one in which the existing institutional structures, especially the sovereign state (by which they often mean several different things) is being undermined weakened, marginalized, or transmuted, by globalization. According to Krasner (1999, p.34-35), globalization can mean some mix of developments that might include the legitimization of human rights, the digitalization of transactions, the speed of communication, the density of global non-governmental organization (NGO) networks, the transmission of diseases, the growth of international capital markets, the surge of manufacturing in geographically dispersed areas, the universal availability of MTV, the increase in illegal migration, legal migration, and the like. Most analyses that emphasize the growing importance of globalization point to the transformatory nature of modern technology e.g. costs of communication and transportation have plummeted. Kelleher and Klein (1999, p.146) defines sovereignty in that "states accept no political authority as superseding their own." According to the principle, no international institution has the right to determine the laws and policies that apply to people within the borders of any sovereign state. Sovereignty, then, has the effect of designating government as the sole representative of the population of a state (Kelleher and Klein 1999, p.146). Krasner (1999, p.35) also provided that the term sovereignty has been commonly used in at least four different ways: 1. Interdependence sovereignty has referred to the ability of a government to actually control activities within and across its borders (including the movement of goods, capital, ideas, and disease vectors). 2. Domestic sovereignty has referred to the organization of authority within a given polity. 3. Westphalian sovereignty has referred to the exclusion of external authority; the right of a government to be independent of external authority structures. 4. International legal sovereignty has referred to the recognition of one state by another; some entities have been recognized by other states; others have not. Recognition has been associated with diplomatic immunity and the right to sign treaties and join international organizations. However, there did come moments in my life when I tried to cheat by consuming things like fast foods, shakes and sodas, believing that it was alright to have such foods and beverages once in a while, while leading a healthy lifestyle. In other words, I was trying to convince myself that while consuming unhealthy foods at some time in my life and hence leading an unhealthy lifestyle, I was also leading a healthy lifestyle. Now by the law of non contradiction, this was simply not possible. It states that at one time, either I could be pursuing a healthy lifestyle or an unhealthy lifestyle. It was simply not possib le to lead a healthy and an unhealthy life at one and the same time. The premise that logically followed was that while pursuing unhealthy habits and consuming unhealthy foods, I was conclusively following an unhealthy lifestyle at that moment of time, which positively violated my personal commitment to lead a healthy lifestyle. In other words, it meant that while adhering to unhealthy habits at a moment of time, I was positively resorting to an unhealthy life and hence could readily expect the results that go with an unhealthy lifestyle, irrespective of my commitment to stay healthy and fit.
